How to upload Content using the Content Explorer?

- Open the Content Explorer
- In the tree view on the leftmost pane, click on the folder you wish to upload the file into. The folder will become highlighted, and its contents will appear in the middle pane.
- Click Upload Files on the toolbar.
- In the Upload files dialog, select the type of Content you wish to upload in the Upload as list. Certain system Content Types (eg. Page Template) will also affect where the content will be placed. If your files don't fit into any of these categories, leave this setting on Auto.
- Click on the Upload File icon. A browser dialog will appear where you may choose files from your local filesystem to be uploaded. You may select multiple files.
- After you have selected the files, click Ok or Open (depending on your client OS and browser make). The dialog box will close, and the upload progress will be displayed in the dialog.
- Once done, click Close. Your files have been successfully uploaded.
